Korea has the weirdest corn dogs. All the Sisters went before Stake Conference started, they literally roll them in sugar!

Hey and this is us eating the chocolate that you sent!

Our random sleep over with the Hogye Sisters!

Hey hey!

What a cool, interesting week!!

We got to help deep clean the church this week, literally outside weeding is bushes, dirt, weeds, oh and spiders. So many spiders. I felt like I had one eye on the weeds and the other above me trying to avoid them! The creepy crawly game was real. But, the man who is in charge of all of the church buildings is so awesome. He knows all the missionaries and seriously just knows everything there is to ever know! Who knew you could learn so much while cleaning!

Kind of cool, Elder Choi, of the seventy, his family is all in my ward! We went to his sisters house for dinner this week and his nephew is my Ward Mission Leader. You know, naturally, that calls for a little pressure!

This week we were meeting with our investigator, Angela, and were talking about the Book of Mormon. She asked if she could see it, flipped it open and was looking at it. Then just got the biggest smile. She flipped it open and the first verse she saw was her favorite verse from the bible, 3 Nephi 14:7-8. She kept saying how it must be destiny! It was so cool to see how the Lord has prepared her up to this point and is leading her.

Another highlight of this week is one of our potential investigators that we text like all day everyday, told us she wants to be a missionary! I mean step one is learning about the church right?

I know the Lord is preparing each of our paths and He's leading us every step of the way!
Love you all!

Hey everybody!

This week brought a new transfer! Sister Oleson and I will be staying in Pohang for this next transfer! I'm super excited we get to do another!

We spent a day with the STLs this week and it was so great! So I have this fear, that I feel like is normal, of talking to people that don't want to talk to me. I mean there are some mean people out there, and just, I just don't like to talk to them. If they tell me I'm brainwashed and to go away, I say yes ma'am have a good day. But my cute STL wanted to help me whip that around on our exchange, so she set our proselyting goal to talk to people until they hate us...I didn't understand it either, but it happened. And it was as horrifying as I planned on it being. I think my favorite part was watching my oh so adorable STL get whacked with a bag. I think in that moment she regretted our goal as much as I did!

This week we had mission tour! Elder Yamashita came and spoke to us. And oh my goodness, his wife is the cutest person ever. I want to be her when I grow up. Other random fun news, I met an Elder Stout at mission tour, whaaat. That was cool!

We saw so many miracles this week. We got two new investigators. One is from Vietnam and she is just adorable. She met with the missionaries a long time ago and wanted to start again. When we went over to her house lots of her family was there visiting from Vietnam and I realized I really love Vietnamese people. They're so cute! Our other investigator has been Buddhist her whole life, but just a few months ago started attending the Catholic church and is started to think about God and Christ and I'm really excited to see where that goes. We had our Music Fireside on Sunday and she came with us! We were so excited and so shocked, because the church we did it at was close to 2 hours away and we had to take a bus because none of our members were coming. But she came and loved it! The whole night was so good. That also means Sister Oleson and I survived our duet. Yes!!! President Jeong came too, which means the pressure was definitely on. But the night was a huge success and so many people came!

I wanted to share a quick quote this week that I've been thinking about a lot. It's out of  the 4th Missionary talk, which is just the greatest, everyone should read it, and it says, "Every challenge you face, every hard thing you confront, every bad thing that happens to you, every unfairness, every conflict, every sadness, tragedy, every disappointment, and heartache, every temptation and every opposition happens for one purpose only: to give you the opportunity to respond by applying in your life the teachings of Jesus."

I love you all!

We went to our other area this week and took a wrong bus that took us in middle of nowhere! But the bus driver was in a horrible mood so we were both too nervous to say anything...so we just had to walk forever to get to our investigators house. There were no people or houses in sight! We decided it was the perfect time to start working on a remix of Party in the USA.

Last P-day when we got together with all the Sisters in the Zone!

Elder Martin's birthday cake we made on exchanges! (PS Mom this is my STL that has only been a member for like a year)

Saying goodbye to the George's!

Hello hello!

This week has been filled with so many weird things. So weird. We're in middle of so much prep for big projects, it feels like that's what takes up all of our time!

We went on exchanges this week and their ward mission leader took us all to dinner after. There is one Korean Elder that was there and he always told me how bad his English was and so he would never speak English to me. Anyways, we were talking and he asked where I was from, I told him, then in English, he says "Oh my gosh I love Logan! I lived there for 2 years!" I think my jaw hit the floor. He had been to Paradise and knew all of these places we had liked to go! It was the weirdest, yet biggest tender mercy ever! The rest of the exchange was awesome! Our STLs are the cutest people ever!

Right now in Pohang we are making an English textbook and....I'm realizing more and more than I don't know English or Korean. That has kind of been what is taking all of our focus this week is trying to get the textbooks done before one of the Elders go home next week. Our Branch President has a big vision for these new textbooks, however I'm doubting my English skills being good enough to make them!

We had interviews in Busan this week. Some how we ended up staying there all day doing things in the office. We had to say good bye to Elder and Sister George. They have been the most amazing Senior office couple any mission could've asked for. They are the cutest people and I feel so blessed I got to serve with them for this long. It's going to be so sad going and them not being there! After we had singing practice with our zone at the mission home. I finally convinced people that me singing is less important than people feeling the spirit, and now Sister Oleson and I are doing a duet! Thank goodness.

I send my love!

Hey everybody!

This week has been super great, I don't have a lot of time so I'll try to explain it all in pictures!

The area along the ocean that literally all you can buy to eat is crab!

An area of Pohang we went to this week. Pohang gets bigger and bigger!! Sometimes I'm not sure why this isn't two areas!

Our MCM homework this week was to go to this area of Pohang that is along the coast to find these dragons, take a picture with them, and then eat at our Mission Leader's favorite restaurant. Interesting homework, but I think the best homework I've ever been given.

Our Kids English Class.

And this is our cute recent convert!

This is the flyer for the Musical Fireside we're putting on. It's for all of the wards in our zone, and somehow Sister Oleson and I are singing solos. I really have no idea how that's going to work, buuut I guess it's happening.
